Dnipro’s Atlantis
It turns out we have our own sunken Atlantis. It is located between Monastyrskyi Island and New Bridge. Flooded in 1932 during the construction of the Dnieper hydroelectric dam the Devil’s island and today is sometimes shown from the water. It is on all maps of the 18th-19th centuries. The island was notorious for its glory because of the many drownings found near its shores.

Burn Center
The history of the unfinished hospital, or more commonly referred to as the burn center, is closely linked to the Chornobyl disaster. Migrants from the exclusion zone were to be treated here. Hitler’s rate of “Werewolf”
The Germans built a kind of military base in Vinnitsia during the Second World War. It was called “Werewolf”. Officers’ houses, a cafeteria and a swimming pool, a Gestapo space, a telephone exchange, as well as Hitler’s house, which visited the Wewolf several times, were located on the territory of the base. It is also known that under the base were underground bunkers that could be preserved to this day.
All this was built by 4086 Soviet prisoners of war, who were then shot. German construction engineers also died: their plane exploded in the air.

Pidhirtsi Castle
Located in the Lviv region in Pidhirtsi village. It is said that the real ghost lives in the castle! A tuberculosis dispensary was housed in the Castle during the Soviet Union time. The soul of Mary – the wife of Vaclav Rzhevsky, whom he killed and murdered in one of the walls of the castle, lives in the castle according to legend. At such a terrible step, he was jealous of his young wife.
