The famous fountain of ROSHEN

Vinnytsia Fountain ROSHEN Built in the channel of the Southern Bug near the Festival Island. It is unique in that the fountain design is floating. This is the largest floating fountain in Europe.

The uniqueness of the Vinnytsia fountain Roshen is that water is used to it directly from the river, and not from a special pool. So the pumping system is designed to withstand extreme loads. In winter, all the construction can be hidden under the ice. The highest flow reaches 65-70 meters, and the front discharge of water is 140 meters. And all this is accompanied by music, light and laser effects, as well as video projections on a 16×45 meter water screen.

Hitler’s “Verfolf”

Despite the fact that now the former rate of Hitler Werewolves is almost destroyed – the complex is one of the most mysterious structures in the central region of Ukraine. Expeditions are still organized here.

The Pirogov Museum

The museum is open on the territory of the Vishnya Manor, where the last 20 years lived and worked as an outstanding surgeon, anatomist, scientist and teacher Nikolai Ivanovich Pirogov, who is considered to be the founder of military field surgery, as well as the Red Cross Society.

The complex consists of:

The house where Pirogov lived. Here is an exposition of 12 sections, telling about his life and activities.
The museum-pharmacy, which recreated the interiors of the reception and operating rooms.
Church-necropolis, where the embalmed body of the scientist is stored.
Memorial Park, in which you can still see, planted by Pirogov.

Regional museum of local lore

The museum is located on the territory of the former Jesuit monastery – the current historical and architectural complex “Mury”.

If you have never seen the skeleton of a mammoth, then you can look at it. The museum rearranges unique items from the Scythian and Sarmatian periods, an extensive numismatic collection, as well as an ethnographic collection: articles of pottery, weaving and embroidery, folk painting. The Foundation of the Vinnitsa Regional Museum of Local History includes more than 200 thousand exhibits.

The museum has a historical, ethnographic and natural science club.

Transfiguration Cathedral

The Transfiguration Cathedral was erected in the 18th century as a church of the Dominican monastery. In 1832 the complex was transferred to the possession of the Orthodox clergy: the monastery was abolished, and the church was rebuilt under the Orthodox cathedral. Until 1991 it functioned as a hall of organ music. Now in charge of the Moscow Patriarchate.

Vinnytsia Mury

The historical and architectural complex of Vinnytsia Mury consists of the defensive and temple structures of the 17th century. Includes:

A Jesuit monastery, a church, a collegium and a convivial (hostel);
Dominican monastery and church;
Surrounding their fortress walls.

Art Museum

In the Vinnitsa Art Museum exhibitions of the works of M. Bachchiarelli, J. Lampi the Elder, J.-P. Norbla, I. Repin, A. Manevich, O. Orlovsky, K. Tinti, I. Svetlitsky, A. Kaigorodov, as well as other Ukrainian, Russian and West European artists of the 16th-20th centuries. There is also an exposition of the decorative and applied art of Podillia. The building is part of the architectural complex of Mura.
