People associate December with a fairytale. This is the time when trees are covered with snow (who am I lying to, Ukraine has been covered with snow in November this year), the squares and houses get their Christmas tree, festive lights, and people drink cocoa with marshmallows and mulled wine. Even if you don`t want to get out from from your warn bed, there are events that worth to stand up and get out on the street. We have prepared a selection of events worth to visit in December in Kyiv, Lviv and Odesa.

M1 Music Awards

One of the most loud events will be held in December. M1 Music Awards is a ceremony where the most successful representatives of the Ukrainian scene are honored. The winners will be awarded at the ceremony in such categories as: best singer, best duo and group, and the debut of the year. In addition, there will be gala Concert, where you can hear your favorite artists: Vremya i Steklo, Tina Karol, MONATIK, LOBODA, Max Barskyh and others. Christmas market “Courage Bazaar”

December is the time for Christmas shopping, that is why you should definitely go to the Courage bazaar. The area will be divided into two zones – the old and the new things. The old things area will be represented by vintage clothing, shoes, baby items, and all the stuff that can only come to your mind. The new things area will be represented by modern Ukrainian and foreign brands. There will be mass celebrations with clappers, mulled wine and dancing. The organizers of Courage Bazaar did not forget about Santa Claus, there will be two ones – for adults and children, and you can tell them about innermost desires. In general, all the visitors can find something that they will like.

Winter at Expocenter of Ukraine

Do you want a winter fairy tale? So that’s where it is. The territory of Expocenter has an ice rink, slides and different attractions for both children and adults. In addition, the territory will have a lot of activities and food courts. The main beauty of the festival will be the Christmas tree. New Year half-marathon “Yol`”

Event for all the athletes-runners. The last race of this year, which will take place in Vyshgorod near Kyiv. The organizers offer to run a half-marathon, mini double marathon or a relay race. Start – finish town will stretch along the shore of the Kyiv Sea. Fresh air, snow and festive mood are included in the starter kit. Also, it is possible to get a medal in the form of a Christmas tree. Extreme feelings, festive mood and weird Christmas costumes will be on Yol` as well. Are you still thinking wheather to take part or not? XVI International Jazz Festival «Jazz Bez»

One of the jazz events of the year will take place in early December.  All the jazzmen will gather in Lviv,  and after the fest they go to their concerts in Poland and Ukraine. This year JazzBez celebrates its 15th anniversary, which means that there will be a great jam session. Besides the concert, the festival will have jazz workshops and scientific conferences. There will be the best musicians from the US, Canada, Japan, Italy, Spain, Luxembourg, Belgium, Germany, Sweden, Moldova, Poland and Ukraine. The event, which is definitely worth to come.
