Things To See In Glasgow

Apart from the superb warm and friendly people of the city of Glasgow itself, there are a great many attractions, which are outside the city and easy to get to. You could for example take a trip to see Loch Ness. If you are lucky, you may even get to see the monster after a few shots of whiskey.
The scenery by the lake is spectacular as you drive down roads snaking through the endless undulating land where every valley throws up a mountain or a hill ahead of it. The land is crisscrossed with countless of frothy brown streams and waterfalls and the villages on the shores of the lake are charming and friendly.

Another thing to do if you want to leave behind for a day, the urban bustle of Glasgow and experience a more romantic and sedate Scotland, is to take a short trip to the tiny and cosy villages of Oban, Luss and Inveraray. All three villages are worth a visit and its inhabitants are very welcoming. It will be a chance to experience Scottish rural life and food, should you be interested in trying some of it. You can catch a bus from Glasgow to these villages, but if you are travelling as a family, there is always a good chance that you will not be able to sit together to enjoy the scenery. The buses tend to originate from Edinburgh, which means that by the time it arrives in Glasgow there may not be a cluster of seats for you to sit side by side. Luxury Glasgow hotels is definitely worth looking to if you are looking for a comfortable and very hospitable place to stay. If you are considering visiting a number of other cities in the country then consider Aberdeen city centre hotel; it is highly recommendable.
