Accredited Virtual American Schooling Launches in India

The world has shrunk and it has become quite common to see parents sending off children abroad for studies. Many things occupy the thoughts of parents right from the environment, academics, living conditions and the list can go on and on. The other concept much talked about in recent times is home Schooling. As a parent, when I thought about home schooling, my first thoughts were on the acceptance of my daughter in reputed colleges post her schooling and her social exposure.  I was on the lookout for virtual school addressing my concerns in India. Virtual school can be a great asset for children pursuing sports and arts as a career.  It can be a boon to children who have missed their school admission cycle and specifically for children with learning differences who are highly gifted or students for whom mobility is limited due to physical disabilities or those who have Attention Deficit Disorder and other special needs.  It is a marriage of technology and academic excellence to bring virtual schooling home. Technology evolution has paved the way and time for parents looking for home schooling to rejoice. Pearson, the world’s leading learning company, launched first-of-its-kind Virtual International K–12 Education in India with International Connections Academy (iNaCA). Bringing accredited U.S. education directly to your desktop, the iNaCA provides a flexible world-class curriculum for students studying in classes up to class 12.

The learning system uses enhanced videos, social, adaptive and game-based learning and aims to provide an engaging experience for the students. iNaCA prepares students around the world for post-secondary success. It is interesting to note that the school has a 100 percent college acceptance rate, with graduates attending elite universities such as Yale, UCLA, and Julliard. iNaCA students outscore their peers across the US on the SAT and ACT college entrance exams, and beat the global average on AP exams.

iNaCA has students from 50 countries in the world and the student gets to interact and it would not be far fetched if we say here is to global exposure in real essence. In line with the vibrant global school community, iNaCA students participate in online special interest clubs and activities from the Robotics Club to Student Newspaper, from the Chess Club to Quiz Bowl – with peers from around the world. This helps students develop extra-curricular skills and develop their personalities beyond the classroom in an international setting.  Expats and Indians looking to educate their children in American system of schooling now have an accredited option with a personalized learning environment.

The virtual school setting of the iNaCA enables students in any part of the world to make full use of its unique curriculum. The flexible learning environment puts students in touch with highly-qualified, U.S. licensed teachers who can provide essential guidance and support. The teachers personalize lessons, evaluate student progress and provide feedback and assistance through real-time virtual sessions to offer a targeted support based on student learning.

Additionally, the academy offers a U.S. recognized diploma to high-school students, which is accepted by various colleges and universities, including Harvard University, Cornell University, among others.

Check out Pearson for more details.  The last date of enrollment is 15th October, 2017.
