I am a certified Christmas junkie, and there is no other time of the year happiest for me than Christmas! I can literally sense, smell, taste Christmas in the air during the Yuletide Season, plus the excitement and joy of giving presents to friends and loved ones. Let us talk about that part of the Season: Gifting. I hate rushing so I always ensure to complete my Gift list early on. I am so thrilled listing down and buying the gifts I want to give to the people I love.
Do you remember when you used to do a Christmas wish list for yourself? As much as we love giving, we also get excited to receive gifts - like when we were kids. Personally, I just couldn't ask for more because I will be getting married before Christmas and it is the greatest gift I could ever receive: LOVE and the start of a family. But I will also be thrilled to get stuff for our new home like furniture, appliances, home decor, interior designing services - my fiance and I are sooo excited about decorating our home. Hello, Crate and Barrel and H&M Home - thanks to SM for bringing these here! I am so giddy to decorate our home for Christmas too, I cannot wait to try these Christmas decorating ideas!

Gifting loved ones can sometimes be difficult, especially when you do not know what else they are lacking that you can give. I always stick to these two principles: practicality and thoughtfulness. I always make sure that I give much thought to the gifts I give, they do not need to be expensive. They just have to be something that they can use and appreciate. For sure my nieces, nephews and inaanaks will love the educational toys that I am planning to gift them. First store in mind: Toy Kingdom, of course. Elegant body care gift sets from Origins will be nice for cousins and girl friends. And relaxing scented candles from Croft Collection for the aunts. Perfect to pamper these special ladies in my life.
While for my sister, something to decorate her room (since it will be her own now after I move out after the wedding) would be nice - something that will inspire her and remind her of me when she sees everyday. There are tons of adorable pieces I am sure she will love from Crate and Barrel. For my brother, something that he will not buy for himself like colognes and fragrances, since he always puts his family first. And my parents will surely love a couple novelty item, like these cute King and Queen pillows (photo below) from John Lewis (SM Makati).
And, of course, for my soon-to-be husband, aside from my love and care, hmmm well...let this be one a secret for now (he might be reading this).
