FEW DAYS BEFORE FLYING...
My son came to fetch both of us back to his home in San Jose, in less than a week, we had to fly back to our own country. It was a three months trip for me and a month of traveling for my friend. She came with one big suitcase and went back with an extra big one borrowed from my sister! LOL... And both suitcases were full to the brim and she has to leave some of her "unused" stuff behind, such as her big pair of boots!
Two days before we Left, my son took us to Pier 39 in San Francisco. I had not been here before, heard that this place is one of the tourist spots in SF, so we must make a visit here before leaving. We left early in the morning and we reached Pier 39 in less than an hour.
From the parking lot, we had to pass this overhead bridge to the pier...
Blue skies but cold weather....
We took turns carrying our little man cos he doesn't like stroller....

Now it stands as a tourist spot...
To go on a ferry round the island cost $99...

One must not leave Pier 39 without stopping by here...
Famous for its sourdough bread...
Clam Chowder.... and it was really good!
