Dinner At Din Tai Fung Restaurant, Westfield, San Jose

THE WAITING GAME.... Dining out especially during Fridays and weekends is no joke.  Even after making reservations, we need to wait for two and a half hours to get a table.  We reached the Westfield mall around 4pm and the estimated time for our dinner is around 6pm... after walking two hours in the mall, finishing two cups of Cold Stone, we still have to wait for 10 more people in front of us. 


Oh, we did not have to queue up of course, they will send a text to my son's handphone.  After being said and done, how come I did not mention the name of the restaurant???  LOL... The long wait was from Din Tai Fung, a Taiwanese restaurant which has made its way to this part of the world as well.  I know there have branches in certain states in Malaysia but not Ipoh.... I have tried a few times but nothing like this long wait ever before.... 

Outside Din Tai Fung...
Going to our turn anytime soon....
Mostly Asians... many come to pick up as well....
And we joined in the crowd.... 
keeping certain distance away....
Famous for their Siew Loong Pau... 
Beef noodles was tasty too!
Fried rice with chicken chop....
And Spicy Wanton.... 
Nope, we did not manage to finish them all....
Doggie bag fried rice and two of these for the next day.... 
How much?
I think it came to around $60...
Don't convert and it is definitely cheaper!
