5. Neon Museum

6. Fremont Street

8. The Bellagio

What is it? A casino and so much more.

How much does it cost? It depends on what’s your pleasure, but many of the most exciting parts of the Bellagio experience are completely free of charge.

What makes it special? We’d be remiss if we didn’t put at least one casino on this list. The Bellagio is our choice. That’s because of the sheer number of different attractions it contains in one location.

Let’s start with the famous fountains. The Fountains of Bellagio are iconic. They’ve appeared in too many movies and TV shows to name, and they’ve formed the backdrop of many a marriage proposal. They offer regular shows of music, light, and water that are astoundingly beautiful.

Next is the Bellagio Conservatory, 14,000 square feet of botanical brilliance. Over the entrance hangs one of Dale Chihuly’s most famous sculptures. From there, the natural world makes its case as an art exhibit that can rival anything man-made.

Finally, our list of cool things to do in Vegas would be incomplete if we left out a Cirque du Soleil show. Cirque is famous for themed circus shows that entertain and stimulate the imagination. 9. Omnia

What is it? A three-story nightclub venue with dancing, DJs, and bottle service.

Where is it? Inside Caesars Palace.

How much does it cost? Female entry starts at $20, and male entry starts at $30.

What makes it special? For one, Omnia is gigantic. The club is not only three stories tall, but it covers 75,000 square feet. Hanging above its main floor is a 22,000-pound, high-tech chandelier made of eight oval rings. The whole club a sight to behold.

As one of the biggest clubs in Las Vegas, Omnia plays host to internationally renowned musicians and DJs, especially of the hip-hop and EDM variety. There are nearly 100 VIP tables, and you can make a reservation for bottle service directly through Las Vegas Nightclubs.

10. Pinball Hall of Fame

What is it? A museum dedicated entirely to pinball.

Where is it? About 12 blocks from the Strip, straight down Tropicana.

How much does it cost? Free to enter and 25 cents to one dollar per play.

What makes it special? Slots aren’t the only machines available for play on casino floors. The Pinball Hall of Fame hosts 10,000 square feet of nothing but its eponymous machines. And unlike most museums, the point of the Pinball Hall of Fame is to touch. You can play the old machines after marveling at them.

11. Encore Beach Club

What is it? A pool and a club.

Where is it? At Wynn Las Vegas.

How much does it cost? Female entry starts at $20, and male entry starts at $30.

What makes it special? Encore Beach Club is the closest Las Vegas gets to hosting a giant pool party. The club has palm trees and shower go-go platforms that give you a pleasantly disorienting experience. Are you relaxing or partying? Both!

Encore Beach Club also hosts some of the world’s best DJs, including Diplo and David Guetta.

12. Seven Magic Mountains

What is it? A two-year public art installation.

Where is it? 10 miles south of the intersection of Las Vegas Boulevard and St. Rose Parkway.

How much does it cost? It’s completely free to the public.

What makes it special? Not everything in Las Vegas is partying or gambling. Seven Magic Mountains taps into Las Vegas’ support for the arts.

Seven Magic Mountains is a temporary installation from Swiss artist Ugo Rondinone. The installation is made up of Day-Glo colored boulders stacked into seven towers. Each one is 30 to 35 feet tall.

The work is visible from the highway, but it’s so much cooler up close. This combination of the natural beauty that surrounds the city and the artificial brilliance of the city itself make it a must-do in Vegas.
