The Women’s Hundred 2022 – All You Need to Know

Like any other cricket game, The women’s Hundred has supporters in India and around the world. Currently, each team will only play six games other than the eight games which men played before. They will not encounter one team or play two games against their biggest rivals. However, this season will see a 100% wage increase for women’s cricket players, and their prize money will be on par with men’s. This has attracted international talents like Meg Lanning, Alyssa Healy, and Ellyse Perry, who were absent during the last season, to this particular competition.

The Oval’s opening game will feature Northern Superchargers vs. the Oval Invincibles, last year’s champions. On September 3, the final match is slated to occur at Lord’s. Most English players are expected to participate in every game this season, although fans will miss Heather Knight, the captain of the England Women’s team, who is unable to compete because of a hip injury.

Fixtures and Results

The Oval Invincibles defeated Southern Brave by 48 runs to take home the title of The Hundred Women’s Competition 2021. This year, the Invincibles are among the favorites to win.

Due to Australia’s necessary 14-day, rigorous quarantine rules, Australian celebrities who were members of The Hundred were absent from the first edition. It is important to note that you can bet for this year’s games on the hundred women table on Parimatch.

Fortunately, they’ll be there in full force this year and are ready to elevate the competition to entirely new heights. As their first female international pick, Nicola Carey, a World Cup champion and Australian star, was chosen by Welsh Fire. Suzie Bates, a batter for New Zealand, was selected by Oval Invincibles as one of the most remarkable women’s cricket players ever.

Elyse Villani, an experienced Australian hitter, was chosen by Trent Rockets as their women’s international player. Heather Graham, an Australian international, was signed by Northern Superchargers after she was a member of her nation’s most recent World Cup-winning team.

Lea Tahuhu, a fast bowler from New Zealand, was signed by Manchester Originals. At Emirates Old Trafford, she will team up with her wife, the legendary New Zealander Amy Satterthwaite. At London Spirit, New Zealand bowler Jess Kerr will team up with her sister Amelia.

Deepti Sharma, an Indian spinning all-rounder who played for London Spirit in The Hundred’s inaugural season, was chosen by Birmingham Phoenix. Molly Strano, an Australian spinner who has taken the most wickets in Women’s Big Bash League history, was acquired by Southern Brave.
