Travel Experta, Expat Mama, Educator and Entrepreneur - Inspiring Families to New Horizons

Thailand is one of the most popular backpacking destinations in the entire world and this is for very good reason. In addition to the incredible culture and fun nightlife found here, Thailand also boasts some of the most beautiful natural scenery in the entire world. Most notably, this includes gorgeous sandy beaches with turquoise wa-ters and thick, verdant jungles teeming with wildlife.

Here are a few of the best places to visit for beach and jungle lovers, which are best experienced when you book your trip with adventure tour leaders like Exodus.

4 of the Best Places in Thailand

Khao Sok National Park
This magnificent National Park in southern Thailand is one of the world’s oldest and a gigantic site with towering limestone rocks, dramatic waterfalls and the huge man-made Cheow Lan Lake. The jungle features an array of colourful and rare fauna and wildlife just waiting to be spotted on a hiking trip, elephant-back safari or kayak trip down the river.

Erawan National Park
Located to the north-west of Bangkok, Erawan National Park is a beautiful area that is covered in thick green forest and home to an abundance of wildlife. The major at-traction of the area is the famous Erawan Falls – a spectacular network of waterfalls that lead into enticing emerald green ponds which are ideal for swimming. There are seven tiers, with the top tier named after the three-headed white elephant from Hindu mythology. The park also features a number of impressive caves and trails that take you deep into the jungle.

Koh Samet
You really are spoilt for choice when it comes to beaches, but perhaps the pick of the bunch are located on the protected island of Koh Samet. This means that it is a very natural and attractive area which features sandy beaches, azure waters and cosy coves. Although great for relaxing in the day, you will also find many excellent parties at night on the northern beaches if you are in the mood for excitement.

Kluai Beach
Located on the secluded Koh Wood island, Kluai Beach boasts alluring unspoilt beaches, shallow waters and stunning views out to sea. In addition to this, the island is thinly populated and undeveloped for tourism – this ensures that there is plenty of nature to explore when you aren’t lounging on the beach.

Thailand is an area of outstanding natural beauty and home to some of the finest jun-gles and beaches in the world. The above are a few of the best and places that any traveller will adore, but there are also many more great and hidden places to uncover on your trip.
