We had a TERRIBLE day on the road (tire blowout...) So our original itinerary was out. We found kind staff at this KOA who went above and beyond to find us a site for the night. Turns out, they had a cancellation and we slipped right in, just a few miles from our tire service center. We have never seen as nice of a KOA as this one. The grounds were immaculate, with blooming flower beds, tidy gravel pads, trees everywhere, and some very scenic sites. Although sites are not super spacious, for us, the scenic apot was perfect, with our aite ba king up to a forest of trees. Each aite has a picnic table and fire pit. Some sites had beautiful patios and decks. The KOA store was nicely stocked and we enjoyed some locally creamed ice cream. Firewood can be delivered directly to your site, and staff assured us, if we needed anything, to ask. Lovely after a long day on the road. We would definitely stay here again and are glad we found this hidden gem.
