We reserved a lakefront site here just a couple days before our arrival with a last minute itinerary change. This Texas state park sits aside Purtis Lake, created by a dam. The park has many hiking trails, geocaches, opportunities to enjoy the water by fishing, boating, or kayaking. There is a boat launch as well as a couple of small docks near the campsites.
