CII Indian Women Network (IWN) Goa signs MOU with Don Bosco College of Engineering for its first women’s Campus to Career Chapter

CII Indian Women Network (IWN), Goa Chapter is initiating its Campus to Career Chapter, a pilot project in the state. The aim of this programme is to equip and strengthen the potential, core domain and quality of young women graduates and postgraduates. The initiative is an incentive for such individuals who intend to step into corporate culture to establish their own enterprises after pursuing their degrees. Dr. Rajesh Kapoor, Regional Director, Confederation of Indian Industry – Western Region signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Director of Don Bosco College of Engineering, Fatorda, Fr. Kinley D’Cruz. CII IWN will call upon and oversee participation from various institutions wherein faculty and students will become members under a special category of IWN membership, while also receiving aid from Don Bosco College of Engineering.

The signing of the MoU

The partnership will work towards developing increased capacity for female students looking to gain from the Campus to Career initiative along with the other initiatives of IWN. The MoU was signed in the presence of Ms. Sheetal Pai Kane, CII IWN Chairperson, Goa Chapter & Dr. Neena Panandikar, Principal, Don Bosco College of Engineering Sonia Kuncalienker, Vice Chairperson IWN and DBCE faculty Ms Melba D Souza. The Chapter constitutes of members Ms. Marisa Gilda Barreto, Chair, Ms. Angel Rodrigues, Vice Chair, Ms. Sachi Bokade, Mr. Kezia Fernandes, Ms. Gauravi Kamat, Ms. Sanika Desai, Ms. Sachi Kadoli, Ms. Anushka Bhagat, Ms. Clarita Desouza, Ms. Rachel Fernandes, Ms. Angel Rodrigues, Ms. Diana Joaquina Estibeiro, Ms. Karen Mitzi Mendes, Ms. Kaveri Suresh Mundaragi, Ms. Mansi Chandru Avarolli, Ms. Akshata Dinesh Audi.
