He was one of India’s first breakthrough dance music performers, performing on key stages at international music festivals such as Electric Daisy Carnival, Tomorrowland Unite, and Sunburn Festival, as well as touring with Kygo, David Guetta, and Martin Garrix.

Joel has been in the field for 20 years, beginning in 1998 when he joined ‘DAT,’ Goa’s first DJ firm, where he was mentored by Ajit Pai and Troy. Joel rose to prominence in 2000 after winning first place in Goa’s first professional DJs competition, ‘DJ VIBES 2000.’ Joel is a multi-genre DJ with residencies at major clubs in Dubai and Goa. He is a well-known figure in the Goa music scene. Rinton has nearly 28 years of expertise in the music industry and has been DJing since 2002. Taking Melodic Techno by a storm, Armando is closely associated with Nikhil Chinapa & Submerge Music and plays around the country and even on foreign lands. Armando is a classical Violinist & Pianist from the Associated Board of Royal School of Music, London (U.K.) and has also done his Music Business and Sound Engineering Degree from Point Blank Music School (U.K.). He appeared at Submerge’s Satellite Beachside 2018 with his debut solo set for Anjunadeep (U.K.) day. His most recent festival appearance was Satellite Limited in 2020 playing alongside some heavyweights such as Nikhil Chinapa, Browncoat, Ash Roy, Tuhin Mehta & many more. Claudio 

Claudio is an important figure in Goa’s DJ music culture. He is also one of India’s best retro DJs and the 2014-2015 MyFavAwards Best Retro/Rock DJs. He grew up listening to old classics, hence his specialty – One Mad Retro Party – was born. Claudio attracts everyone he plays for, whether it’s because of his knack for dropping the appropriate tune at the right time or because of the effervescent smile he wears all the time. He’s also known as one of the best wedding DJs in Goa. 

Saj Akhtar 

DJ Saj Akhtar’s love for music began while he was in elementary school, and he hasn’t looked back since. He was a well-known figure in Dubai’s music scene, performing at a number of events before settling in Goa with residencies at Club Tito’s, one of the city’s most popular nightclubs. His enthusiasm and vigour keep the audience dancing to his tracks. With his most downloaded remix CD, ‘Sensation Miami,’ DJ Akhtar earned the hearts of people in Dubai and across India. He’s known as ‘Your Very Own Desi Boy,’ and his remixes have been released and are listed on AIDC. 

Joshi 

Joshi is a well-known music producer and DJ in India. Joshi made his DJ debut at Sunburn Goa 2013 and has since performed in every major Indian city as well as at some of the country’s most prestigious events, including Enchanted Valley Carnival, Sunburn Campus, Sunburn Reload, and many others. Shania Tashya 

Shania turned her love of music into a career when she was 15, performing at local venues and immersing herself in the nightlife sector by catching crowds at some of India’s most exclusive clubs. She has developed a place in India’s nightlife scene thanks to her variety and ability to get any space to move, having performed at festivals such as Time-out, Submerge, and worked with Vh1. Shania has a special place in her heart for underground music, and in 2019, she founded the ‘Liquid Melody’ brand out of strong enthusiasm and a desire to start something new. 

David Phimister 

David Phimister has been fascinated to music since he was a child, which enables him to play a wide range of musical styles. Music has allowed him to travel the world in addition to being his passion and career. Playing for several worldwide music festivals has allowed him to meet people from all walks of life and learn about their various cultures. It’s not difficult to see how he manages to keep dance floors full even after the night is ended, as he is both uniquely gifted and incredibly accomplished. DJ Benz  

Benson Coutinho a.k.a. DJ Benz is a versatile DJ and Music Producer from Goa who has gained international acclaim in the last couple of years. He is currently managed by Shark & Ink, one of India’s top Artist Management companies. Benz has performed at most of the metropolitan cities and top music festivals such as Sunburn Goa playing alongside with internationally renowned DJ’s such as Henry Fong, Danny Avila, Tujamo, Matisse & Sadko, Ankytrixx, Arjun Vagle, Kohra, Lost Stories and many more. Known for his high energy performances, he has also played at various Sunburn Festival campus gigs around India. His ‘Mission EP’ released with Pl4yfields reached the number 12 spot on Beatport’s Big Room top 100. In 2020, he had joined hands with the organizers of the virtual concert ‘Sunburn for Goa’ which aimed at promoting Goa and raising funds for COVID relief work, which was later donated to Goa CM’s COVID Relief Fund. 

Shaun Moses 

Shaun, a Goa native, creates a raw and throbbing techno sound with characteristic pounding subs and unrelenting grooves. With ethereal synth hazes, rolling percussion blasts, and deep basslines, his DJs sets provide an explosive glimpse of his abilities. He has worked some of the best dancefloors across India and around the world, with a roster that includes Octopus Recordings, Tronic Music, OFF Recordings, Alleanza Records, and Hydrozoa Records, to mention a few. He continues to increase his reach with each passing year, with frequent tours around Europe and Russia. Moses, his alternate identity, debuted in 2019, and features a more industrial and leftfield sound that he’s been cultivating over years. 

Skeletron 

Skeletron is the man behind a slew of originals, remixes, and mashups that have amassed millions of views. Skeletron is a moniker that can be found on almost any DJ’s playlist in India. Skeletron’s name has been well-known as a result of his consistent production of high-quality music, which has attracted the attention of a number of well-known DJs and producers, including KSHMR, Quintino, Ummet Ozcan, Mike Williams, Fedde Le Grand, and others. Martin Garrix, DJ Snake, The Chainsmokers, Flume, Jonas Blue, and Fedde Le Grand have all performed alongside Skeletron. 

DJ Ketan

He has profound methods to express himself musically and artistically as a Deejay, Turntablist, and lately turned promoter for The Back 2 The Basics Saturdays at Soho with DJ Claudio. 

A.N.D 

Aaron Figueiredo and Dwayne Figueiredo, also known as A.N.D., are a DJ brother duo that began performing together in Goa and Bangalore. Dwayne is currently stationed in India, while Aaron is situated in Australia, assisting them in putting A.N.D. on the map globally. They’ve performed at some of Asia’s greatest music events, including Sunburn, Vh1 Supersonic, and Timeout 72. In India, they have opened for Wiz Khalifa, Martin Garrix, Don Diablo, and others, while in Australia, they have opened for Carl Cox, Green Velvet, Deborah de Luca, and others. 

Ajit Pai 

Ajit Pai, a pioneer in Goa’s dance scene for over two decades, paved the path for professional music mixers who were previously unheard of in Goa. Ajit has played a key role in transforming Goa’s club scene and laying the musical basis that it now enjoys. He is currently affiliated with Tito’s Goa and has performed at Asia’s largest dance music event, Sunburn Goa, for the past six years, an unrivalled achievement. He’s also a House music specialist, sharing booth space with the likes of David Guetta, Dimitri Veigas & Like Mike, Marco V, Sultan & Ned Shepard, Danny Rampling, Richard Durand, Yves V, Albin Myers, Funkagenda, and others. 

Akshit Shetty 

For almost 7 years, Akshit Shetty has been the driving force behind the dance music scene. He is noted for his musical diversity and plays at a variety of venues and events. Guy J, Patrice Baumel, Babeta, Kora, Adam Beyer, Joseph Ashworth, and many others have performed alongside Akshit on stage around the world. He organises events at Miraki, where he gives young musicians a platform and hosts known artists to perform their songs. He is also the originator of ‘Boshed,’ one of Goa’s most well-known techno music venues. Tuesday Nights at Soro in Assagao are well-known for Boshed. 

Starling 

At the age of 14, Starling was introduced to DJing through trance, a full-fledged twilight, and eventually proceeded into many genres of music. His sound ranges from full-on to aggressive twilight, complete with rolling bass lines and distorted sounds. Starling, on the other hand, has a knack for blending Commercial, Progressive, Tech, Minimal House, and Hip-Hop to delight any crowd. He has been performing for some of the most prestigious clubs and party venues in India and throughout the world for nearly a decade. He owns “Hilltop,” one of Goa’s oldest sites for moonlight parties, with his father. 

Flaz 

DJ Flaz is recognised for his lively commercial hip-hop sets as well as his well-crafted hip-hop sets. In 2020, he performed at the Goa Sunsplash event, sharing the stage alongside foreign and Indian DJs and music producers. He is a familiar face in the Goa nightlife market, having performed at venues such as Sinq, Showbar Exchange, W Goa, and others. He’s also recognised for his energetic sets at college events, having performed alongside Ritviz for Plexus by Goa Medical College. Usman is a well-known Goa DJ who is known for his mesmerizing melodies as well as his hip, cool, and funk demeanor. He has quickly risen to become a DJ pro, thanks to years of expertise and the development of a versatile musical taste.
