About Nusa Dua, Bali: A series of Superlative International chain of hotels facing lily white beaches. Nasa Dua is one such up market stretch in Bali developed by the tourism complex. With high-end shopping complexes, manicured gardens, landscaping and a 18-hole golf course, this place is an amalgamation of recreational facilities & nature at its best. One can explore a range of temples, museum of housing arts, artefacts from Indonesia & Pacific region, unique natural landmarks around scenic peninsula. Nasa Dua is an ideal location for honeymooners & luxury family vacationers.

I thank Indo-DMC for inviting me to do a Property & Destination Review for Vouk Hotel & Suites in Nusa Dua Bali. The stay at the hotel & the program scheduling was well planned & executed.

Self-Experience:

Vouk Hotels & Suites is 5 -star, 5 floors and 176 rooms resort property. The resort gives a fresh feeling of design and quality fixtures & fittings. Right from light fixtures, headboard, desk, furniture to bathroom fittings, the place is in good shape.

If you have a prior booking with the hotel via an agent or online, the check-in is prompt with most information available with the hotel, making the whole experience seamless after your flight journey. The luggage arrives in the room quickly.

I stayed in a superior 51 sqm. King 51 Bed Type. It was humble but nonetheless, had everything I needed for my work visit.

The bathroom was adequately spacious with separate bathing cubicle & shower stall. There was good walking space in rest of the bathroom which was well-equipped with basic gadgets for use.

The room has a mini bar, LED TV, Wifi.  The room opened to lush green views of the resort and around. The country-side views from the balcony were gorgeous, best enjoyed in evenings with a cup of coffee & a book . I often miss large balconies in my trips to Europe but that’s the advantage one has from vacations in Asia.

Room Service & Housekeeping is prompt & courteous. One of the days during my stay, I came to my room in the wee hours of the morning at around 3.30 am. I called up room service for some coffee & snacks and it arrived within 10 minutes which was very impressive. My big thumbs up as they do deliver what they commit about their 24 hours in-room dining facility.   The Housekeeping department was not far behind as my rooms were spic & span each day. Yeah one has to leave an instruction for daily make over if one wishes too.

The breakfast of the Vouk Hotel & Suites is located on the ground floor in Rasa Restaurant. The breakfast buffet is quite modest with variations in cuisines as per the profile of guests in the hotel. So one can expect a mixed spread of Japanese, Indian, Indonesian and Continental food. In short, a platter to suit most taste buds.

Spa services at Chakra: I was happy to see there were impressive offers running during my visit. And I opted for a 2-hour fruit body scrub & massage. The services were good, ambience was energising and invigorating. The masseurs were sweet and well-trained making the overall experience refreshing.

All the comforts of the resort:

In-Room
Burnished in tones of brown, rooms are well-laid with elegant & comfortable bedding. The air conditioning is appropriate as per the climate. With a 42-inch flat screen LED TV, electric kettle, mini bar & shower facility in bathrooms, the rooms have all necessary amenities for a comfortable stay including a balcony that is spacious with comfortable sitting and lying furniture available.

Free Wifi is available in rooms and across the hotel.  Massage services are available in the room as well. 2-plug receptacles in room with adaptors are also available on request.

Rooms Categories range from Superior to Suite Luxury with spacious room sizes and bed type to cater to requirements of guests.

Other facilities:

Hotel provides storage & safety deposit box which is available at the front desk, 24×7.

Guests can enjoy at the turquoise-blue swimming pools running in a long stretch through the hotel alley with a children’s pool as well.

At the venue, other conveniences include currency exchange, car & bicycle rentals, ticket services & a tour desk to assist for various sightseeing arrangements, kids rooms, games room & KTV room.

F&B Services:

Hotel has 2 main restaurants namely, Rasa Restaurant serving Asian & International Cuisines & Rempah Restaurant that serves authentic Indonesian Cuisine.

Orchid Lounge & Gallery Café serves snacks & beverages. By the pool side, there is “Splash” that serves beverages, including a pool bar & sea view terrace. One can enjoy F&B services as per choice and ambience to suit. In-Room dining is also available.

6 halls of sizes 10 x 4 sq.m to cater to smaller affairs.

Bigger halls of sizes 83, 126 and 345 sq.mts, respectively to manage large gatherings.

One can opt for half or full-day meetings, full-board & full-board residential meetings as per one’s requirements.

It’s an ideal venue for 70-100 pax destination weddings.

Transportation: Shuttle bus is available from early morning till 8 PM at night. You need to pre-book a slot as per your requirement.
