Great desert of Thar, Aravali mountain range and saltwater lakes are a few attractions known to all, but this article will divulge more hidden and incredible fact and destinations of the largest state of India. 

1. Snow ground of Rajasthan- Surprisingly it is true that you can come to Rajasthan for Pre-wedding photography in snow coated hills, but without shivering in the cold. At Kishangarh place of Ajmer district of Rajasthan, your eyes can get feeling of being in Kashmir, but your skin will not feel the cold. Actually, this place is the dumping area of marble slurry that gives it the feature of snow coated ground that makes it the favorite destination for those who want to click their Pre-wedding photography in the snow without going to Kashmir.    








2. Ghost Village Kuldhara- Abandoned and Cursed village for 200 years of Jaisalmer district of Rajasthan that has so many tales is famous for the ghost. Once inhabited by Paliwal Brahmin community that vanished overnight leaving behind this ghost village where no one dares to go in the night. 


3. Second Longest Wall of the world- the Great Wall of China is known as the longest wall of the world whereas second longest wall of the world is situated in Rajasthan at Kumbhalgarh fort. The fort was built by great worrier Maharana Kumbha of Mewar. Built on the hilltop in the Aravalli range, the fort has perimeter wall of 36Km length which is the second longest in the world.


4. Temple of Rates- It unusual to hear but you will be surprised knowing that there is one rat temple situated 30Km from Bikaner known as Karnimata temple. Approx 25,000 black rats are found in the premises of temple which makes it only rat temple of the world.


5. World's one of the oldest mountain range- It is not less than shocking to know that Rajasthan has Aravalli mountain range which is older than the great Himalayas. The range of mountain spreads across 692 Km from west to north-east of the state and highest peak is 1722 meters in height. The Aravalli range dates back to the time when the Indian plate was separated from the Eurasian plate by an ocean in the Precambrian era before 4600-541 million years ago.
