People living in hot areas often go to the hill station to spend holidays. Be it a honeymoon or a trip with friends. It used to be a thrill from the dead. So, see below some best hill stations.

Dehradun:

Dehradun is particularly popular among tourists due to its beautiful natural landscape, temple, and educational and research institute. Dehradun, surrounded by the Ganges-Yamuna rivers, is also known as Doon Valley. Tapkeshwar Temple, Sahastradhara, Laxman Siddha, Guchupani, Lachiwala, Rajaji National Park as well as Dakpathar are unique places to visit.

Shimla:

Shimla, the country’s most beautiful hill station, is spread over 12 kilometers. The beauty of high mountains, tall trees on the mountains, and the snow on them attract you towards yourself. Naturally rich Shimla is not only an India but a favorite tourist destination for the tourists of the world. It is my own pleasure to visit Shimla between March and May.

Shillong:

Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya, is actually a visitor’s paradise. Popularly known as ‘Scotland of the East, it is considered to be one of the most romantic hill stations in India. The rolling hills, salty environment, attractive waterfalls, natural beauty, and cheerful people connect with the heavenly beauty of Shillong.

Mount Abu:

Mount Abu, the only hill station in Maru Pradesh, is like a bluff of cold air in the scorching sun. It is located to the southwest of the Aravalli mountain range in the Sirohi district of Rajasthan. Seeing the high mountains here and the greenery spread around it, it is difficult to believe that it is a part of Rajasthan. Apart from the beautiful beauty, the historical temples here also attract tourists.

Panchgani:

Panchgani is a unique hill station situated in Maharashtra surrounded by five hills. It is located 19 km from Mahabaleshwar. It is also called the sister hill station of Mahabaleshwar. Sydney Point, Asia’s second largest plateau tableland, along with Devils Kitchen and many other things attract tourists. You cannot find a better place to escape the scorching sun amidst the sweet tumult of the Krishna river.

Manali:

Manali, who counts his name in the major hill station of North India, is called the house of King Manu. The lush green forests, mountains, and the passing rivers of milky color appear between them to make any imagination come true. Thousands of tourists take shelter in Manali’s lap every year to avoid the sun’s outbreak. Apart from the beautiful natural scenery here, you can also enjoy sports like hiking, paragliding, rafting, kayaking.

Ooty:

The original name of Ooty, the queen of the mountains, is Udagamandalam. Ooty in Tamil Nadu is the most famous hill station in South India. The beautiful hue of blue flowers on the mountains looks like a velvet sheet. The real specimen of natural beauty is seen in Ooty itself. From things made by the tribals, Children’s Park and Boat House have their own joy. Rose Garden and Botanical Garden are the main attraction of tourists in Ooty.

Munnar:

The small, but very beautiful hill stations of Kerala may not be as famous as Shimla, Manali, and Darjeeling, but their beauty is not diminished in any sense. The breathtaking scenic views of Munnar, nestled among three rivers passing through the mountains, Dudhia waterfalls, beautiful lakes, rivers, and far-reaching tea gardens, attract tourists from their own spontaneously. Apart from tea and coffee, a beautiful flower called Neel Kuriz adds beauty to Munnar’s beauty. The specialty of this flower is that it blooms only once in 12 years.

Darjeeling:

The tea gardens scattered naturally in the mountains, which look like stairs, make the eyes relaxed. The real fun of Darjeeling comes from walking on a toy train. This train takes 6 to 7 hours to see the unique and beautiful view of the green velvet Darjeeling spread over 82 kilometers. The Batasia Railway Loop, giving a unique example of engineering, can be found only in Darjeeling, the real view of Dhumagumpa, Chaurasia, and Kanchenjunga Mountains, famous for the idols of Maitreyi Buddha.

Kodaikanal:

If you really want to be exposed to natural beauty, then definitely go to Kodaikanal. Kodaikanal, situated between Pali Hill, is a major hill station in South India. The velvety feeling of the fragrant clean air coming from the huge rock, the calm lake, the fruit orchards, the eucalyptus, and pine forests, and the lush green scenery here tell the story of its beauty.
