Leading UK Travel Brands Partner for Abu Dhabi Tourism Growth

Prominent UK travel brands have joined forces to boost awareness and stimulate tourism growth in Abu Dhabi, forging ten joint marketing schemes in collaboration with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi). Key players such as On the Beach, Trailfinders, Kenwood Travel, Destination 2, and Voyage Prive are among the participating companies.

Additionally, existing partnerships with dnata, Expedia, lastminute, and Amadeus have been extended, following fruitful collaborations in the past year. These agreements aim to leverage Abu Dhabi’s appeal to European travellers, to drive an uptick in visitor numbers to the emirate, ultimately supporting the ambition to surpass 24 million annual visitors. Saleh Mohamed Al Geziry, Tourism Director General, emphasised the significance of these partnerships in enhancing Abu Dhabi’s allure to travellers, underscoring the commitment to fostering collaboration with valued UK and European travel partners in priority markets. 5 star hotels in Abu Dhabi will benefit greatly from these ventures, including properties such as Anantara Eastern Mangroves Abu Dhabi Hotel, as visitors look to enjoy the glamour of the UAE capital.
