Travel basics

Make the most of your 3 days by pre-planning the basics. Pick centralised accommodation. For example, you can opt for hotels or serviced apartments in Tianhe District, Yuexiu, or Haizhu. Organise your transport in Guangzhou. The city has an efficient metro, bus, and taxi network.

Day 1

Begin your itinerary exploring Guangzhou’s historical and cultural attractions, located nearby many hotels and serviced residences, including Star Residence ICC Guangzhou. Visit the Chen Clan Ancestral Hall, Yuexiu Park, the Five Rams Statue and Guangzhou Museum, and the 1500-year-old Temple of the Six Banyan Trees. Head to Beijing Road, Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street, or Tianhe District for a multitude of shopping and dining options. End your day with a night cruise along the Pearl River.

Day 2

Head to the 600m-high Canton Tower on your second day for jaw-dropping views of the city. Next, visit the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall and the Mausoleum of the Nanyue King. If time permits, ensure you stop by the iconic Guangzhou Opera House. Guangzhou’s trendy nightlife scene can be found at Binjiang Road and Huanshi Road.

Day 3

On your last day, consider visiting Baomo Garden and Shamian Island or spend the day at an amusement park such as Chimelong Paradise.
