PETRONAS Twin Towers
An unmissable sight, the iconic Petronas Twin Towers spans a height of 452 metres; as you can imagine, the views from the top are mesmerising! Easy to reach from a KL Sentral hotel, this site can be found in the Kuala Lumpur City Centre also home to the Suria KLCC mall, Petrosains Discovery Centre and Aquaria KLCC which are family favs.
Central Market
An ideal place to get in some shopping and soak up some local culture, the Central Market is another top Kuala Lumpur attraction. Around a two-minute walk from Travelodge City Centre, the market offers everything from souvenirs and batik clothing to handicrafts and sculptures.
Batu Caves
Within easy reach of the city centre, the Batu Caves are set amidst an ancient limestone hill and is home to a century-old temple and Hindu shrines featuring various idols and statues. Inside the caves one will also find intriguing limestone formations, some believed to be approximately 400 million years old!
Sunway Lagoon
Around a 25-minute drive from the Kuala Lumpur city centre is the Sunway Lagoon theme park which offers plenty of thrills for young and old alike. Within this sprawling attraction, you will find the Nickelodeon Lost Lagoon water park as well as various theme park rides, wildlife encounters, extreme sports and even the special Scream Park!
