Taling Ngam Beach
Located along Koh Samui’s southwest coast, this pristine shoreline is set amidst jungle backdrops. Overlooking the Angthong Marine National Park, this beach features relatively shallow water that kids will love; visit during the evening and you can enjoy spectacular sunsets too.
Chaweng Beach
One of the most popular on the island, Chaweng Beach offers perfect soft powdery sand. Apart from swimming, water sports such as jet skiing and kayaking can be enjoyed here. You will find many hotels and resorts like Anantara Lawana Koh Samui Resort along the beach, ideal if you also want to experience the happening nightlife scene.

Lamai Beach
Another well-known choice for sunbathing or water sports, Lamai Beach has a white sand shoreline fringed with palm trees. Those visiting here from a nearby Samui beach resort should also look to take in the fascinating rocks, “Hin Ta” and “Hin Yai” which are known for their phallic shapes!

Lipa Noi Beach
A great place for kids, Lipa Noi Beach has little or no coral or rocks in the water ideal for swimming and wading. It’s relatively less crowded and offers a more relaxed setting to just sit back, soak up the sun and take in the magical coastal views.
