Sardinia will host the third race of the Italian round of IronMan 70.3.
The IRONMAN 70.3 Sardegna triathlon will take place on October 25, 2020 in Santa Margherita di Pula (located in the province of Cagliari, Sardinia).

The race will start with a 1,9km (1 loop) swim at the Forte Village beach (address: Strada Statale 195 Sulcitana, Km. 39.600, 09010 Santa Margherita di Pula CA, Italia); athletes must complete a single clockwise lap in the sea.

The triathlon athletes will have then to endure to a one loop 90km bike race from the Forte Village to the inner villages of Sardinia like Domus de Maria, Teulada and Sant’Anna Arresi.

Finally, there is a two-loop run of 21,2 km (half marathon) from Forte Village to Cala d’Ostia (famous for its Saracen tower) and back.

The IRONMAN 70.3 Sardegna Triathlon is a great opportunity to show the beauties of Sardinia to athletes and tourists who will attend the race from all over the world.

The registration for IRONMAN 70.3 Sardegna will open on 12 December 2019.

There are 2 others Ironman events in Italy both held in the Emilia Romagna region on September 19 and 20, 2020.
