My Top Books! Get Inspired To Travel, Live, Explore And Be Happy

I don’t know how about you but I Love reading. I think it really helps you to better understand life, people and yourself. It can also inspire and teach. I just feel better after reading a bunch of the books. The hardest thing for me is to choose what to read that I would not waste my time. Especially when I travel I grab only 1 Book for obvious reasons. Of course, if you have e-reader it is easier. But in this case there are way too many books and sometimes I get lost. So this post is to guide you in the million books out there. My favourite books – to inspire to live, travel, love, that thought me.

The 4-Hour Workweek: Escape 9-5 by Tim Ferris

Since I was little I said I don’t want to work. When I turned 18 I started to work part time jobs together with my studies but just because I liked it. At some point during the studies I have read this book because I knew I don’t want a 8 am to 5 pm job. (Even though I had some of them) Now I am self employed, guiding when I want, traveling the other time. If you relate to this – read this book.

Losing My Virginity: How I Survived, Had Fun, and Made a Fortune Doing Business My Way by Richard Brandson

This book was on a list of the books during my studies ( International tourism business) and it was so good! It is about business but I loved the way it was written. And I got inspired that from nothing you can become a lot! Just do it.

The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho

This is another legendary book. One of my first ones as far as I remember. I read it few times and every time i found something new. Same as with the Little Prince. If you haven’t read it – go and do it tonight! I am not kidding.

The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People: Powerful Lessons in Personal Change by Steven Covey

As you probably already figured it out I love books that helps my self improvement. If you don’t like reading many books and collecting information – this book is what you need. If you adapt only these habits to your life – it will change. I promise.

Rich Dad Poor Dad: What the Rich Teach Their Kids About Money That the Poor and Middle Class Do Not! by Robert Kyosaki

Another book how to become rich. I am telling you – if you are incepting ideas to your mind – things will start to happen in your life! The way you think is everything. If you are struggling with money – read it! Then you should be always asking ”how can she always has money to travel”… Read and you will understand.

Homo Deus: A Brief History of Tomorrow by Yuval Noah Harari

It is probably the newest book on this list. Published in 2017. The first book ” Homo Sapiens” is also very good – tells history of humanity. This book is questioning what will happen next. It does not tell you exactly but really makes you think. Like how religion and technology are connected? I would not think that if not the books… Read it if you are curious about the world and what is happening to it.

The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck: A Counterintuitive Approach to Living a Good Life by Mark Manson

This blogger changed my life. Not only with this book but also with his blog. When I was lost in life ( yes I was lost, I would say a looot) I was reading his posts, relating to them and looking for a better life. It was one of the reasons I started this blog – to be that inspiration to one of you.

The 5 Love Languages: The Secret to Love that Lasts by Gary Chapman

This book have opened my eyes to understand how other people show love. I was so concentrated on how I show it, I just assumed everyone else does same. Oh god, I was so wrong! If you are thinking this – you need to change it and this book can really help you. The thing that my dad was buying me food I would never eat just because he thought I will like – was the way to show love. For me was so natural! And he never said ” I love you”” in words – that is my language…

On the Road by Jack Kerouac

You were probably thinking ”so where are those books about actual traveling??”. So here we are. It is really a good one, inspires you to go on a trip (still on my to do list many of them like the one in Switzerland or New Zealand..) The action is in post war USA and it will be a nice rollercoaster of emotions.

The Good Girl’s Guide to Getting Lost: A Memoir of Three Continents, Two Friends, and One Unexpected Adventure by Rachel Friedman

I love this book as I relate to it and also learned a lot. On a whim, a girl decides to buy a ticket to Ireland where she met a free-spirited Australian girl who inspires her to travel to Australia and South America. It is a funny and honest memoir of how she breaks free from her shell as she travels across three continents, learning how to live in the moment. And this is exactly what I always seek – to live in a moment, get out of the comfort zone.

P.S. None of this content was sponsored. It is my personal opinion. Please share if you like any of these books and what are your favourite?
