Bike the Golden Gate – FREE eBook

The weather has been great and now is the time for fun bike ride across the Golden Gate Bridge. This is not a difficult ride. There are only two hills and if you can’t pedal up, just walk your Bike – a lot of people do. This is not a race and not a time to prove you can do it, just enjoy the ride and keep it fun. Most of the ride is level and very safe.

It starts and ends downtown at the Ferry Building. Starting with a nice smooth ride along the Embarcadero, you’ll pass some of San Francisco’s most famous attractions:

  • The beautiful Ferry Building – shops, food and drinks.
  • Cost Tower
  • Pier 39
  • Musée Mécanique
  • Fisherman’s Wharf
  • Hyde Street Pier
  • Ghirardelli Square
  • Aquatic Park
  • Fort Mason
  • The Wave Organ
  • Palace of Fine Arts
  • Fort Point
  • The Golden Gate Bridge
  • Cavallo Point
  • Sausalito

Glide though a few hidden spots along the water, past Fisherman’s Wharf, through part of the Presidio, across the massive bridge (in a bike only lane which makes it safe), down a big hill into beautiful Sausalito, then back to the city by ferry boat, a great way to top off a memorable ride you’ll never forget.
