While searching for desserts that diabetics can eat, I asked one of the sales person at the Pasalubong shop in Gaisano mall if she they have something of that kind for sale. She recommended Three Star's Moringga Ice cream. When I arrived at home I examined the packaging label but all I can see is that its ingredients are Moringa (malunggay) and Cocosugar. There were no mention of where it was made or what the other ingredients are. So I guess you just have to take it at face value.

So what does it taste like? It taste like a more subdued ube with the more overpowering cocosugar's sweet, caramelly taste. So if you are looking for a "healthier" snack you might want to try this dessert. Moringa is known to have nutritious value plus cocosugar is supposed to be good for diabetics because of its low glycemic properties.
