The 2015 Southern Hemisphere Storm season has been intense. Massive storms have already caused destruction and whipped up historic swells in their wake and it's only May! I made a last minute trip to El Salvador in hope of scoring a classic right point firing on all cylinders. She did not disappoint. The same swell that saw Puerto Escondido go beyond XL roared through El Sal with non-stop sets in the double to triple overhead range for several days. Enjoy some images from this past week.
Thanks Timothy Zhu (who Shot the images on Big Monday), Graeme and the unknown Salvadorian panga shooter for the images of me surfing. I didn't have Vallarie with me on this trip so I appreciate the shots taken by others.

Only a handful were able to break through the non-stop sets and get outside. A 16 year old named Jake Marshall from Encinitas was one of them. His 14 year old brother was another. These kids rip. |
