Everyone was looking forward to the formal announcement of the start of the Fasting month, and it finally came.
When I heard the cannon shots, I was sitting in a park in Doha, relaxing . Then I thought that it would mark the first day of the fasting month. My suspicion was confirmed later .
As everyone around me was preoccupied with preparations for the forthcoming celebration, everyone this year forgot about the April Fools' pranks . It will be memorable .
Additionally, this year, the fasting days for Christians and Muslims coincide in part.
