Lately I’ve been obsessed with Rose quartz and Dusty Pink. OBSESSED. (Don’t believe me? Check out my Pinterest board here.)

Rose Quartz is 2016’s Pantone color of the year. (I knowwwwww, old news. But great choice, right?)

Fun fact about Rose Quartz….
Some people say that Rose Quartz has healing properties. It’s also known as the love and beauty mineral. (I give it to any of my friends who go through a breakup. Whether they buy into the healing properties thing or not, it still looks pretty grouped together and displayed on a table)

Also a note on design… I tend to be more on the conservative side when making big choices. Like say, reupholstering furniture. (I say that, and then I remember my wall paper choice or this sofa for a client.) I try to remind myself to only do/make/purchase things that I can’t stop thinking about. For example, these chairs.
Which I mulled over for a straight week before I bought them.
Which brings me to this post on dusty Pink. I can’t stop thinking about reupholstering them in a beautiful dusty pink.
So I’ve been Pinteresting pink like it’s my JOB looking for the perfect pink to re-do them in.

Reupholstering isn’t cheap you know. In fact, I think it will actually cost more than I paid for the chairs. So this is a big decision. HUGE.
So I’d love to know your thoughts! Should I take the plunge and go with dusty pink? Or should I be super conservative and stick with something like green that will match the sofa? Leave a comment with your thoughts in the comments below!
