Lighting is a funny thing. It’s hands down one of the most important things in a room, yet it’s almost always the most forgotten about. Any room is gorgeous during the day. But what about at night? If not properly illuminated, all the pretty stuff you’ve spent hours deciding on basically is pointless. You’d just be milling about bumping in to stuff.

The same can be said for a room during the day. A room may look gorgeous at night, but it has too look like it belongs to the room during to day too. It’s all about balance.

And it’s with this in mind, and my most current living room makeover project, that I’m putting together this Lighting Roundup. You all remember my living room “before”. (If not, check it out here.)

These are my picks for the pieces that would look the best in this space.
