First off, I have to tell you, if you aren’t currently following me over on Snapchat (Carissals) you are totally missing out. Sure, there are a lot of videos of Maddie Moo Squeeky making it rain with confetti she’s made out of papers found lying about… But there are some legitimately good snaps of me hunting for some really awesome finds.

So, this weekend was special because every year my Family gets together for a family “meeting” of sorts. We set up shop in Guthrie, Oklahoma, eat until we can’t move, talk family business and then let loose on the town to explore and shop.

Side note: My mom was legitimately upset that I didn’t wear lipstick this day. Like, it hurt her feelings that I forgot to wear it. But in my defense, it was really really hot, and I hate putting it on because it just gets everywhere. Red shoes were my pop of colour this day. #sorrynotsorry

Guthrie is such a beautiful old town. Did you know that it was the original state Capital of Oklahoma? That is until overnight, and without consent, the capital was moved (in covered wagons?) to the new state capital, Oklahoma City. Crazy, yeah?

And with so much history, and how old this gorgeous town is, literally every corner you turn has something pretty or unique, or beautiful.
