I’m Bamboo obsessed. Seriously. I have been for awhile now. Actually, I don’t think I will ever NOT love faux bamboo. It’s just one of those things that I think living and growing up in Asia, I was conditioned to love.
It’s still in every single design magazine i read. I unconsciously look for it at every estate sale I go to. Anything that has even the slightest hint of a bamboo look, I scoop it up and drag it back home. Addicted might even be a better word.
My name is Carissa and I’m addicted to buying faux bamboo furniture. And lately, faux bamboo beds.

So many of them are just the natural burled wood which I love. There is something about that natural element that warms a room right up.

Then there are the bright white ones that stand out and are stunning in just about any space. (You know white is always my fave, but to be honest, the burl wood is seriously growing on me.)

One of my latest finds is this beauty. If only there were someone with me while I was picking this baby up from a local estate sale. I strapped it to the hood of my car because my normal truck picker upper was unavailable. It was hilarious and terrible at the same time. Maybe I’m the only girl in America who carries her own tow straps…

Isn’t it beautiful? Left as is, or even painted white or a bright fun colour, it would be gorgeous. And judging by the measurements, I think it is King size. Find this beaut and lots of other finds in The Shop.
