The funny thing about most vacations, is that the majority of the time, you need a Vacation from your vacation. You always eat way too much. Have one too many cocktails with little umbrellas. Dance too much. Get too much sun. You know. Normal vacation-y things.

But that’s not the case with the Mexico vacation. Sure, we probably drank entirely too much. A fact that I’m Totally fine admitting. And according to the scale, yup. Totally may have gained 5 lbs. And obviously, if you’ve seen me around town, I’ve still sporting whats finally turned into a tan. But I miss it. It was THE BEST vacation. A long overdue one. There’s really nothing more healing/destressing/comforting about jet setting off on a girls trip with a few of your closest pals.

We are all so busy doing our own things here around Oklahoma City. It was nice (and for lack of a better way to put it) be stuck in the same house with these girls for an entire week.

So many dance parties. So much swimming. So many heart to hearts. I miss it, and I want to go back!

Luckily I have about a million photos to remember it all by.

Athleisure was kind enough to send over these ADORABLE Rose All Day tops for us to wear on the trip. (They have soooooo many cute designs by the way. But this is by far my most favorite.)

They are made up of the softest material. Not the stiff T-shirt material you are thinking of. These are like, for real soft and smoothy. We got them in XL and wore them around our bungalow as coverups. (And maybe as night shirts a time or two.)

And perhaps the best part, the photos that we had one of our friends snap while were were all on the beach wearing them at the same time.

Yes, we brought a swan and a pineapple. Our bungalow was the coolest, I swear.

Can’t wait to have these photos framed to remember what an amazing vacation we had. And totally looking forward to going again next year.
