Sony A7iii Grip Extender

Getting a Sony A7iii Grip Extender is almost a must if you have large/X-large size hands. With the Sony A7iii and all Sony mirrorless having a smaller body than the traditional DSLR cameras. I am a Sony A7iii user and some say I have very large hands. Having bigger hands can make getting a comfortable grip on smaller mirrorless cameras can be a struggle. Most people and especially larger size hands can’t get their pinky finger on the grip. This is why my second accessory purchase for my A7iii was a grip extender.

Best Sony A7iii Grip Extender

I can’t say that I have tried all grip extenders on the market. After looking at the Sony GPX1EM version, yes it is well built and does add a great grip extender. Although it has a few limiting factors. I can say that the the one I found and my experience with it is outstanding. The best Sony A7iii grip extender Lennon Gecco LB3. This is my number #1 accessory and I think a must for men/women using Sony A-series mirrorless cameras. With this accessory you not only get a larger grip but it also is a QR or quick release plate compatible.

Why do I feel like this is the best Sony grip extender? For a few reasons, first off is the value for what you get. At almost 1/3 of the cost of the Sony brand GPX1EM. You will also not be hindered in battery changing and the use of tripod mounting. Second, the Lennon Gecco LB3 works excellent from average to extra-large hands. Gaining the use of having a QR attachment point is very useful for tripod mounting. At only 456 grams you’re not adding much to the weight of your camera. Adding one of these grip extenders and a Sony TOUGH SD card should be your first two accessories for a new A7iii user.
