If you are like me, I love taking my dog with me on my adventures. After years of taking my four-legged friends with me, I have found some of what I think are the best adventure dog water bowls. Some may see this as an extra burden and don’t take their dogs with them. Socializing your dog is essential to their development as good dogs and companions. If you have all the correct gear for your best friend, it’s no big deal. Over the past 20+ years and multiple different dogs, four to be exact. Portable Dog Water Bowls
With the pet industry growing every year, there are several excellent adventure Dog Bowls on the market. There are two distinct styles I want to talk about, foldable/collapsible and rigid dog bowls. Each has positives and negatives depending on needs and situations (packing needs) that you may need.
Most dogs or at least all of mine don’t tend to want to eat until we are away for more than 24-48 hours. Even so, I do usually bring dry dog food for any overnight trips. If you are just out for a day hike or daily adventure, food or snacks (depending on your dog’s needs and activity level) may or may not necessary.
Adventure Dog Bowls, Rigid, Soft or collapsible?
I personally use each type for different kinds of outings. If we are out Overlanding or 4Wheeling I keep the collapsible or soft style in my truck at all times. I will usually keep ridged stainless steel style bowls in my camping gear. When I am on a hike or have minimal gear with me I just take the soft style or the collapsible dog bowls. Each type of dog bowl has its use depending on when, where and how I need to pack them. After using all three kinds of these bowls for the last couple of years I would have to say that the collapsible style is the best all-around adventure dog bowl for life’s adventures.

Soft, the most versatile Adventure Dog Bowls
When it comes to choosing the most versatile adventure dog bowls soft style is my top pick. I have used a soft bowl from RuffWear for over ten years. I can say that these bowls are very well made worth the purchase. RuffWear makes a few different styles of soft adventure dog bowls. They make a standard soft bowl this style is usually for water. Also, there is a closeable top. This is the kind my dog and I personally prefer because it can be used to carry dry dog food and used for water. As with anything, there are cheaper versions available. Although I don’t think you can beat the quality of RuffWear’s build construction.
I love my dogs like they are family because they are. This is why when it comes to gear, food, and safety I am always going get what I feel is the best for them. It’s a rare camping trip that I don’t bring my current dog @MaeGSD with me. Do you take your dog or dogs on your camping adventures?
