GoPro could have made this only compatible with newer Hero 5 cameras they didn’t. Pricing, the GoPro Karma is going to be offered at only $799 without camera or $999 with a new Hero 5 camera! this is an amazing price considering the DJI Phantom 4 is $1,400.

GoPro Karma allows body mounting, handheld stabilized video capture, and jaw dropping arial drone video capture. Karma grip can be mounted to any existing GoPro style mount. With Karma the consumer won’t just get a drone, this is a complete video capture system.

GoPro has you covered

Taking a page out of Apple’s playbook GoPro is now offering GoPro Care. Making Karma great for both new and veteran drone pilots. GoPro Care is offered at a reasonable $150 knowing how bad drone crashes are this is cheap insurance, fly with confidence knowing you have a full 2 year guaranty against crash damage. GoPro engineers also designed Karma to be user repairable. Karma owners can buy replacements parts for every part of the Karma drone. In conclusion it looks like Karma was worth the wait.
