Part shop (they offer men’s and women’s clothing, beauty items, accessories and homeware) part waffle cafe and 100% perfectly curated, Kauf Dich Glücklich began in 2002 as a Waffle Cafe located on Oderberger Straße in Berlin and offered vintage furniture for sale. In 2002, cross-selling was more of a novelty than a regular practice for most commercial enterprises, but Kauf Dich Glücklich was onto something good. Although over time the concept changed from selling furniture to selling clothing and other items, the cafe/shop combo is still going strong, highlighting the authenticity of Andrea’s and Christoph’s original concept.

Kauf Dich Glücklich has now grown from a waffle cafe selling vintage furniture to 17 stores, a cafe, and an online shop with merchandise from Scandinavian and French labels as well as local Berlin brands. Their 17 stores can be found in Bremen, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Hannover, Köln, München, Münster, Nürnberg, Stuttgart Wien and Berlin of course.

At the end of July this year on the 29th, Kauf Dich Glücklich will be celebrating their 15 Year Anniversary in Hof der Gerichtstrasse 23 Berlin where Kauf Dich Glücklich’s head office and Outlet can be found. The event includes a flea market featuring Berlin bloggers and influencers (Including yours truly! So stop by, say hi, and by my clothes!), food and drink, an open air, pool, and after party. The event itself is free and open to all who wish to come by and celebrate!
