Why our prints are so good – the Epson 11880
Time and time again we get five-star feedback from our customers for both our exemplary service and the high quality of our Canvas prints.
Customers often ask us why our print quality is so much better than the majority of our peers so this week we thought we would give you the lowdown on our brilliant printers – the Epson 11880.
The techy stuff
Weighing in at 151kg, the Epson 11880 is not the kind of printer you have at home. No, this large format beast is nearly 2.5 metres wide and over a metre high – try fitting that under your computer desk! Able to print at an incredibly high resolution of 2880 x 1440 DPI, the 11880 guarantees that your canvas prints will have almost exactly the same clarity and detail as a photographic paper print, and it’s this quality that makes our customer’s jaws drop when they first receive their canvas.
Loaded with an eight colour inkset means that the colour scope is the widest possible to allow for the most realistic and vivid reproduction of your files in both colour and black and white. As long as you follow our guidelines for submitting images, we’re always confident that you’ll love the results. We’ve been using these printers for a while now and still get blown away by the quality.
It’s wide!
Most of our printing is in the A3 to A2 range, but we still have many orders come in for people wanting great big canvases. Well, with the Epson 11880 that’s not a problem. Capable of printing as wide as 64” (that’s over five feet!) and as long as you need, we’ve yet to have a custom order we can’t handle with these monster printers. Oh, and you haven’t lived until you’ve hung a five foot square canvas on your wall…
Yes, it’s fair to say that all of the staff at Your Image 2 Canvas love our Epson printers. They’re expensive (around £8000), but when it comes to producing the best canvases at the best price there’s really no point in cutting corners. You don’t have to take our word for it, however – send us a file or two and see for yourself!
