Lost and Found (Bus Driver, Part IX)

Man, I tell ya, I’ve Recovered more iPhones on these buses than I have anything else! Short version, I’ve recovered liquor bottles (both open and closed), wallets, credit cards, purses, money (up to almost $100.00 or more), fancy chargers, even gub-meant phones (you read that right), clothes, books, a whole lot!

It’s a miracle I haven’t recovered any drugs or condoms yet…

Maybe I came across a nickel (or dime bag) one time, still can’t recall other than I either tossed it or flushed it down the toilet.

I just wanna rant on the picture, and I’ll wrap this up: You’d think that people who spent up to $1,000.00 on an iPhone would at least protect the thing with a case! I’d be pissed if I spent money up the wazzoo on a phone for my child and this is how they treat it! And because my bus is overcrowded in the afternoon, it’s real easy to lose things.

And if no one claims their items, I toss ’em at the end of the week.

Period.

And BTW, whoever misplaced their iPhone is probably frantic right now. I gave it to my superiors and it’s in their hands now.

The Life Of a Bus Driver. The adventure continues.
