Currently Using: My Go-To Mascara

One of the questions I frequently get in real life is "girl, what mascara do you use?", which is generally met with a blank stare as I try to recall which random drugstore mascara I threw into my Superstore cart that month. I personally don't believe in spending top dollar on a product that only lasts a month or two (I'm just not fancy like that— kudos to you if you are!), and I'm lucky enough to have lashes on the longer side of the spectrum (read: drugstore-mascara friendly), but every once in a while I come across one that outperforms the rest, and inevitably, I want to share it with you guys. Such was the case with the newest drop from Lise Watier— the V Element Mascara— which admittedly I was introduced to after partnering with the brand on Instagram. But sharing it here with you on this platform is completely not sponsored; just a friendly show 'n tell because I happen to like it so much. So if you're on the hunt for a good drugstore mascara (although Lise Watier is on the pricier side of the drugstore spectrum), this could be a good one to try.

WHY IT'S GOOD

Now I don't know a lot about what goes into making mascara, but what I do know is that V Element is made with volcanic minerals that pump up the volume (evidently by 200%), add length, and hold a curl all the live long day. It's fortified with magnesium, zinc, calcium, copper and silica to revitalize and protect lashes from external aggressors (who knew that was a concern?!), and it's fairly clump and flake-proof, which is what I love most about it.
