Anyone might think that we’re crazy to have the audacity to travel when the world is still suffering from the Covid-19 or commonly known as the corona Virus. We never thought of going anywhere during the early stages of the corona virus because at the time many countries resorted to lockdown to avoid massive spread of the virus.

Just before summer we thought of going on a road trip through Germany but unfortunately the country was still imposing restrictions. It was when the news came about Spain reopening for tourists after its crucial lockdown. Spain is always our first choice as to where we spend our holiday.

It was quite a risky decision knowing that Spain had not completely recovered from being severely hit by the virus but we gave it a go and we thought we should follow whatever precautions the country take to tourists.

Another risky decision we made was taking a Flight knowing that the possibility of contamination is high in the airports and on the planes. After reading all the airlines’ precautionary measures we thought we’d give it a go.

We usually fly with Lufthansa but when my husband checked its flight to Málaga it had a long stop-over in Munich that would require us to stay overnight there, it’s due to the country’s restrictions. The only other flight to Spain was by RyanAir, which offer a direct flight from Gothenburg to Málaga. Leif booked a priority flight for us. It’s quite similar to the Business Class we usually take with Lufthansa – first to get on board the plane and an empty seat between us.

When we’re in Spain we don’t normally settle in one place so we hired a car and drove to our favorite spot where beaches and swimming pools await us.
