Sad Day in Entertainment History.

I know that this posting has nothing to do with shoes, but I felt obligated to recognize and honor two of the most famous people in the history of entertainment. Today, Thursday, June 25, 2009
both Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson died. Farrah, a former Charlies Angel, was a fashion Diva! Her face, smile and kind heart made the world a little better of a place to live in. I loved watching re-runs of her on Charlies Angels when I was a little girl.

The most shocking thing about today is the death of the King of Pop music, Michael Jackson. I couldn't believe it, when I had heard that he had past away of cardiac arrest. As I sit here and write this, I still can't believe that it is true. Michael Jackson was an amazing artist and performer. He has shaped the music we listen to today and help bring down racial barriers in times when America and other places in the world haven't been so "free" or "democratic." Though he was not perfect, he still deserves to be recognized as one of the most influenctial people in pop history.

My heart goes out to both families during these rough times. You all shall be in my prayers. May Farrah and Michael rest in peace.
