Facebook is testing AR ads in its news feed.

Facebook has been implementing a lot of innovative changes and experiments with various technology now it’s giving a selected number of advertisers access to augmented reality (AR) ads that will be running in the News Feed and Testing a new tool that will help brands to create mobile video ads using the already Existing Images and video footage.

Facebook introduction of AR ads in News Feed, it’s possible to experiment with your brand’s AR camera effects in just one click from your ad. Additionally, by incorporating calls-to-action within the camera experience, people can seamlessly go from engaging with your product such as trying on a dress or exploring a new game for making a purchase or installing an app.

In addition to testing AR ads, the company is introducing a Video Creation Kit that allows advertisers to create video ads optimized to view it in mobile using existing images and video footage. Those Advertisers will be able to upload pictures or videos and add overlays or logos to build ads for Facebook News Feed, Instagram, Messenger and Facebook’s Audience Network.

People now expect a personalized and more visually inspiring experience wherever they shop whether they’re on engaged on their phone or in-store, which is why video will play an increasingly important role in the mobile shopping experience. To drive home its point, Facebook shared figures that found 79 percent of consumers would rather watch a video to learn about a product than reading the text to push its video and efforts further.

As a Facebook spokesperson confirmed the company is in the beginning stage of adding auto play video ads to the messenger and also planning for new video metrics for page owners.
