Regulation Gets Tougher For Collection of Management Fees & Treating Customers Fairly

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has recently taken over responsibility from the Office of Fair Trading (OFT) regarding regulation of Collection agents in the UK, with some powers extending to the European Union.

With these changes in mind, it is probably a good idea for resorts that outsource this part of their operation to check that their service provider is fully compliant with all that is required by the regulator. This can be done by searching the Consumer Credit Register using the following URL:

Resort Recoveries is a brand name of Cbc International and can be found by entering the following registration number into the register 131161.

This new robust regulation should ensure that only the most reputable organisations will be able to conduct such work. This, together with our affiliation with TATOC, membership of the Collection Services Association and International Quality Assurance Accreditation, provides resort operators with the comfort of knowing that their Management Fees collections is in safe hands.
