Once again, we’re turning to Peanut Butter for dessert, because why not? We love peanut butter and we know many of you do too! For this dessert, we wanted to bring a festive touch for the upcoming Christmas season, and brownies are perfect. So, today we bring you cream cheese frosted Peanut Butter Brownies, with a touch of Christmas color for the season.
Very simple and quick to make, these chewy peanut butter brownies are sure to be a hit!
Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 3/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
- 4 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- cream cheese icing
Directions:

- Preheat oven to 350° F. Spray 13×9 inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
- Beat peanut butter and butter in large bowl with electric mixer at low speed until well blended.
- Beat in vanilla and sugar until blended. One at a time, add eggs until well blended.
- Stir in flour, baking powder, and salt until blended
- Spoon out 1 3/4 batter and keep to the side. Stir cocoa powder into remaining batter
- Spread chocolate batter in baking pan. Top with the batter that was set aside earlier.
- Bake 30 minutes, or until done.
- Cool completely before frosting with cream cheese icing. Add additional decorations, such as green colored icing and/or red sprinkles as desired
