Saffron Park

Yes it is a Saffron Park. It is located in Park Plaza, Marathalli  It has a spicy Saffronish rich and cozy interiors well spread in a huge space with an Open Kitchen and attractive bar. Saffron is getting ready for its new updated tasty menu with mesmerizing tongue twisting yet yummy, named dishes. As, Saffron, mainly focuses on the North West cuisine of Indian peninsular, the best tastes from Awadhi cuisine, Kashmiri, Cuisine of Uttar Pradesh to Western Indian Cuisine is chosen to drive us all through their authentic aromatic delightful food journey.

Saffron welcomes its diners with its Snug, rich and cozy, which can make any get together spicy (after all Saffron;-) ).

I was invited for new chef tasting menu with more and more wow looking and yummmmmyyy tasting dishes.

Here goes the updated Menu.

We started with classic Thandai after being blogger photographers... Its lighter in its viscosity compared to our known Thandai and has that authentic taste of nuts with extra rose petal and small loads of pistas in it..

matched with a bucket of crunchy papads.

Then came the Shakahari ( Vegetarian) starters:

Sunheri Khasta :

Chef made the Indian roll, real Sunheri, very delicate and tasty veg filling it and rolled in Vermicelli to give it extra crunch.

And Paneer Jaali Kebab, as they are real north indian delicacies

Paneer is well marinated in mixture of curry leaves, Aamchur, corriander and green chilies… absolutely tasty and well marinaded soft textured Kebab.

Non vegetarian/Mamsahaari starters:

I cannot really explain them as i am a vegetarian but have captured their beauties;-)

Murgh ki Chap:

Surkh macchi tikka:

We were almost full with the above starters as they were real tasty and wooow… Then came the Main course:

Churan Ke Kareley: So as the name indicates,Karela (bitter gourd) was stuffed with churan (powdered filling) which is made up of Dry mango powder, Cumin,Coriander and rock salt and tempered with Kalaunji i.e.., Onion seeds is nicely stir fried to retain only minimum bitterness.

Ratan Manjusha Aloobukhara Kofta:

Aloobukhara is sweet plum, is used a s a filling along with almonds in a spinach and a cottage cheese dumpling dumped in a rich gravy as it tastes quite salt and sweet gravy.

A Couple of Non vegetarian delicacies:

Harrey Masaly ka Kadhai Ghosht:

Faizabadi Murgh Quorma:

Here comes my favorite Saffron Dal Makhani:

It was just awesome with perfect taste of Cinnamon..

Awadhi Biryani :

An authentic Lucknowi Dum Biryani:

Breads from Saffron Tandoor:

Mithai / Dessert

Gulkhand ice cream

Their Bar even is quite welcoming:

An authentic Northwest culinary journey.

My ratings:

Service and ambiance: very good

Food: naaiicee

Pricing: higher side.

Overall: Nice place for a date, get together with higher expense.

Bon Apetit

Love u all
