The Trader Rater Rating: 6.95
Review Summary: We liked these Granola Bars, but would have liked a bit less sweet and a bit more nutrition. Overall a nice alternative to a candy bar.
Full Review:
They weren’t overly sweet, though the peanut butter used is definitely sweetened peanut butter (it’s much sweeter than typical PB). They also packed a good crunch and an even texture – thanks to the puffed rice. Plus, the granola/oatmeal made us feel like we were getting some added fiber.
But let’s be real, calling them “granola bars” seems like a bit of a misnomer. They are more of a healthy-ish treat. If you’re looking for a truly nutritious in-between-snack, these bars may not be for you. If you want an alternative to a candy bar – maybe.
