Ingredients - 1/2 kg Rava (Suji, Semolina)
- 1/2 cup milk
- 4 cup freshly grated coconut
- 1/2 cup ghee
- cardamom powder
- 1/4 cup dryfruits, finely chopped
- a pinch of saffron strands
- 3 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 cup water
- Heat a thick bottom pan, and heat ghee in it. Roast dry fruits till light golden brown. Transfer to a plate
- Now in the same ghee, roast rava till golden brown.
- Make two parts of the roasted rava and add milk to that. Again roast for few minutes.
- Add coconut to it, mix well and roast again. Transfer to a plate.
- Put a kadhai on the flame and pour water in it. Add sugar to it. Add saffron strands
- Stir continuously till sugar melts into syrup. Cook until it becomes thick and 2 string consistency.
- Add rava - coconut mixture, cardamom powder and roasted dry fruits. Stir continuously to avoid lumps.
- Allow it to cool naturally.
- Take small mixture into your palm and make small ladoos.
- Arrange in a plate and serve.
- Or keep them into air tight container to enjoy them later.
