Read Badshahi Ladoo in Marathi
Cooking Time : 50 - 60 minutesServings : 25 - 30 ladoos
Ingredients :
- 1/2 kg chana dal
- 3/4 kg sugar
- 1/2 coconut, grated
- 1/4 kg ghee
- Almond sliced
- Saffron Strands
- Cardamom powder
- Soak Chana dal for 4 hours, drain excess water and grind in a mixer.
- Heat ghee in a pan and fry the mixture till golden brown.
- Add 2 cup water in sugar and make sugar syrup of two string consistency.
- Add chana dal mixture in that.
- Add sliced dry fruits, cardamom powder to it and stir.
- Roast grated coconut and add it to the above mixture.
- Stir occasionally till the mixture becomes thick.
- Take small amount of the mixture on the palm and make small ladoo.
- Repeat the process for the entire mixture.
- Remove in a plate and serve.
- Or keep them in an air-tight container and enjoy later.
- Add roasted khava/mava to the mixture.
- or add mashed peda to the mixture.
