The first Rain of the year is here. It poured today and heavy. After a long long time, have I enjoyed something this well..Its been days and I have been expecting rain drops for a while now. The sweet earthy scent of wet grounds lingered every evening but it never showered. Finally, today, on a dark gloomy afternoon, the clouds gave in and I popped out the Corn from the fridge for a treat. Just like a lawn is no good without a barbecue, same-ways, the rains are best enjoyed with my special masala corn on the cob.

I even saw hail! What a rainstorm!
